Sheryl Underwood is she is an American comedian and TV personality best known as the hosts on The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Born in Arkansas She was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her youth caring for her sister Frankie, who had polio. Growing up, she faced many difficulties with her mom. Sheryl states that in the past, her mother would stab her father due to him having a relationship with her. Sheryl was drafted into the military upon her graduation from college. Her love for comedy was stronger. She became the first female contestant in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV professional career began in 1992 when she appeared on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. In the past, she has been host of The Talk since 2011. Additionally, she has portrayed the role of a fictional character in programs like Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
